Taiko drums, used in ancient Japan, communicated with allies and inspired warriors to battle. Thrilled by the Kodo performing drummers, I was inspired to capture the postures of the drummers and explosive volume and energy of their rhythmical drumming.

CONVERSATIONS, a body of work, explores the dynamics of communication between people or within ourselves. MONOLOGUE, sits by herself, contemplating her personal or perhaps more universal concerns. Her mirrored sunglasses, reflect the issues that she internalizes.
